You will need

On a flipchart, list out the alphabet:-

Customer Service Training Games Alphabet

Option 1

Ask the group to come up with something related to customer service or great customer service for every letter of the alphabet.

They shout out and you capture their answers i.e.

A great experience
Best time ever
Customer experience
Difficult situations

Option 2

Split the group into teams. Set up a competition between the teams.

Give each team a sheet of flipchart with the alphabet listed out

Set a time limit to the exercise ( 5 minutes ) and ask each team to complete the task.

Award a small prize for the team that comes up with the most, or the most original.

This exercise should be pacy if you want to use it as an energizer.

Use this on induction or on-boarding training, as a way to get your new starters to think about what they learnt the day before. A great way to reinforce and refresh their learning.

Make it harder by asking the teams to list the phonetic alphabet on the flipchart paper, and come up with something customer service related for each letter - make the exercise a little longer but not too long; keep the energy in the exercise.
