I can relate to the conversation being of a similar age ( that's all we have in common )and it's easy to blame the delegates of today.

The reality is that training sessions need to be interactive, participative  and get people doing rather than listening. 

Telling isn't training. 

But that's always been the case in the twenty plus years I've been training people.
